BLAST from the PAST!

WOW WOW WOW! I think this is the longest i’ve ever abandoned my blog for! Oh man, SO MUCH has happened since my last post! Obviously i’m back from China! It was an awesome trip! Did loads of shopping, eating and catching up with the family! <3 I guess I will blog about that another day! =D

So, UNI life has officially begun once again. I’m doing BTH 2741, MIC 2011, PHY 2021 and SCI 2010. VERY mehhhh subjects. As of now, classes are pretty hectic and workload is piling up as usual. WHY LAH MONASH! >< Having said that, I kinda enjoy the workload sometimes. It takes my mind off certain things. I think I’ve changed a lot during the summer holidays in terms of my perspective on certain things. Well, all i can say is that good and bad things happen for a reason and sometimes some things in life deserve a second chance. We’ll see how that turns out! =D

I’m so overwhelmed right now because i don’t know where to begin! All my lovely darlings are once again FAR FAR away from me. =(. Except for Gillian Chow that is. LOL. Have been spending a lot of time with her. Shopping, makans…etc… And she made my birthday a BLAST! Which will be left for another post. =P. I have to stay FOCUS! Too many outings and shopping trips already. >< Uni work is piling up and my meet ups with Gillian have been decreasing although we’re in the SAME uni! Life goes on.

I’m pretty happy and satisfied with my life right now. I’ve been sleeping really well for 2 weeks straight WITHOUT any signs of insomnia. =D! Woots woots! I think i’ve learned to take things a step at a time. 1, 2, 3! =) It makes life so much more enjoyable. =D.

OH OH OH! And i’ve got loads of new gadgets recently! Iphone! DSLR! A CAR! IPOD! A new printer. HAHAHHAHA! WEE! I shall show you some awesome pictures! =D WOOHOO!

I’ve totally forgotten how relaxing holidays can be!

I’m usually busy preparing for exams during the holidays because SOME school systems suck like that. BOO!

Holidays can also be detrimental to health! I’ve morphed into a SLOTH! EAT SLEEP AND WATCH MOVIES ALL DAY LONG!

I wonder if i can re-adapt to my uni days again. Trust me. It will be TOUGH! ><

New Year’s cake! Red Velvet and Banoffee Pie. REALLY AWESOME PAWSOME. I’m pretty extreme. When i like a certain food, I will eat it day and night just like my popiah until i get bored. LOL! Oh i ate popiah the other day for the first time in 3 weeks. =D I’m cured from the addiction! JOY!

That was my first time eating that yellow bun. I also ate my first octopus with Gillian. =P You should be proud.

I was feeling sleepy after brunch so we went back to my place. Chilled, Watched MTV and i slept like a pig.

Mom wanted to have her lunch at Bangsar Village so Gillian and i tagged along for tea. Went to Bisou of course! Red Velvet cake and Banoffee pie! DEJAVU!

We had some of my mom’s Chicken pie too.

My mom went to do her hair leaving Gil and i at the cafe. We were full but our stomachs got the best of us. We ordered ANOTHER cake and a bowl of soup.

Nutella Marble cake. LOOK at the thickness of the nutella spread! But this cake was HORRIBLE AND DRY. EWWW!

Had a hearty meal at home. Went to Mid Valley to buy the essentials and off to BV1 again. BISOU again. Red Velvet and Tiramisu. Sat at the exact same place. HAHA!

Ok, my Saturday was pretty epic! At 12am, I msged Joo to ask if she wanted to tag along to pick Joanne from the airport. I didn’t know what time Joanne was arriving and at that hour, we couldn’t contact her Mom. I remembered from somewhere that it was 630am. Told Joo to come at 5am. I also sent a msg to Joanne’s mom. I didn’t really sleep at all just in case i overslept. At 6 something, still no sign of any msg or call. Then i called Joo. SHE FELL ASLEEP! HAHAHAHA!

She finally arrived at 7am and the both of us super muka tebal and went to Joanne’s hse even after her mom replied and said that the car wld be full already. Due to some complications/miscommunication etc Joanne and family took a cab home. So Joo and I, zombiefied, read mags to pass time. Our surprise nearly failed though! >< But it was all good in the end! Joanne was so super BLUR! WOOTS!

Went for breakfast with her whole family. Was at her house the whole day. Went to Bangsar to pick up some stuff and met my family there. Went over to Mid Valley. Ate junk food etc, shopped, bought stuffs.

Okay. This is SO OUTDATED. Its already the 4th of January, OMG TIME IS FLYING!

I’m here to wish everyone a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hmmm. 2010. Boom. Gone. I have a list of things to say.

I shall leave that for another day because i’m too lazy. Such is life.

First Week and I’m bored. WHAT? BORED ALREADY? HELL YEAH!

SLEEP. EAT. TV. ONLINE. SLEEP.

Awesome life cycle? i think NOT!

I need to do something. Yeah. Something. Soon. Tomorrow. =D.

Met up with Iris and Amanda at Plan B. Really nice, quaint place to hang out. =). Warm and cozy! Its actually by Delicious. They’re under the same management, just as i suspected. Similar menu, waiters and waitresses. I passed by the other day and the people working there recognize me from being a regular at Delicious. LOL. Food is more affordable at Plan B. More for the younger crowd. RAW AND RUSTIC. =D Another great concept.

My huge-ass chicken pie! Rm15. Its enough for 2 small eaters. Just nice for me. =D. IT WAS STUFFED WITH CHICKEN. A LOT OF CHICKEN.

Amanda’s Salmon Sandwich and Iris’s Cream Sauce pasta. I helped Iris finish off the rest of her pasta and it was GOOD! I think i prefer this to the one in Delicious!

Walked around BV 1 and 2 before stopping by at Bisou for cakes! They wanted to leave already but i was craving for cake! My piece of orange poppy seed cake with cream cheese! Mmmmm!

My parents’ 32nd Anniversary!

I planned everything. A SURPRISE indeed. Dinner for 2 at Prime, Le Meridien. Went to check out the restaurant with Kevin the night before and pre-ordered the food. Went to pay on the day itself. =). I gave them the card shown above so that it can be placed on the dinner table.

Everything went well. My brother and I dressed up to make it look like we were all going for a family dinner. Dropped them off at Le Meridien and told them it was dinner for 2. LOL! They were SHOCKED. My dad didn’t want to get out of the car. I had to sms my sis to call them from Aust to let them know that it was our plan and to just go with it and enjoy each other. =D.

According to my mom, my dad was still in a state of shock and was disorientated for the first few mins into the dinner.

My bro and i went home to have our dinner. SAD! Fish curry and cabbage soup.

We went back there for surprise round 2 with flowers! =D

Had desserts there too. =)

Bread rolls. Caesar Salad. Cod Fish. Sauces. Wagyu beef. Tiramisu.

Blueberry cheesecake that day was SO SO FRESH AND SOFT AND MELT IN YOUR MOUTH OMG! It was the best out of all the other times i’ve had it.

With mommy dearest! They gave us a pack of party stuffs to usher in the new year!

We drove to Brickfields at 12am to see the fireworks from Le Meridien and Dataran.

Christmas 2010!

Christmas is tradition in my family. Its the same EVERY year. =)

Christmas eve BBQ at my place. Family members together once again. Food and drinks all night. Presents at 12am. Church Service on Christmas day. =)

Awesome BBQ. Seriously, i think only my family knows how to do a good BBQ. =P. Beef, Lamb, Chicken, Pork Ribs, Fish, Prawns and Pork Sausages. =) Not forgetting the salads and garlic bread!
